Hi! I am Peter Beddek. I am mostly wheelchair bound and as a consequence my photography mainly occurs where access is easier. A medical specialist once told me to "get on with it"; I took his advice and, hopefully, the result is reflected on this site.
My photography is now my life and in 2010 I was awarded Associate of the Photographic Society of New Zealand of which I am extremely proud.
In 2009 and 2010 I have been proud to hold the Presidency of the Kapiti Coast Photographic Society.
My images would not have been possible without the support of my good wife Katie; she maintains that pushing me around is getting her fitter.
I would like this site to show fellow sufferers of adhesive arachnoiditis, that a meaningful and fulfilled life is still possible.
I intend to keep this site up to date as my photography progresses. I hope that you enjoy my images and would welcome your comments and suggestions for improvement.
